NPIP POULTRY

Sitka Sedge Farm is a certified participant in the USDA's National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP), a voluntary State-Federal program that conducts testing to certify disease-free flocks, and inspections to ensure hygienic livestock management.

Our NPIP certified flocks enjoy free-foraging on two acres of forested land in the lush Pacific Northwest. In addition to wild forage, our birds eat a diet of whole, milled and spent grains, and fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs and grasses.
